News: BioShock 2 Is January’s EU PS Plus Big Freebie

bioshock 2 free ps plusFreebies!

European Playstation Plus members are in for a treat come January, a treat in the form of BioShock 2.

Yep, that’s right, BioShock 2 will be available to Playstation Plus members from January 2nd 2013. If you’re looking forward to the upcoming BioShock Infinite, this is a great way to get you in the mood for some steam-punk adventuring.

That’s not all though, there is of course a great deal more on offer. Mortal Kombat is also going to be available, though the violent fighter won’t be available in Germany or Australia, instead Gotham City Imposters will be on offer in place of Mortal Kombat.

Finally, Guardians of Middle Earth rounds off the Playstation 3 content, which was only released a few weeks ago back at the start of December.

That’s the lot for your Playstation 3, but there’s even more available to you if you’re a PS Vita owner. Though January’s offering isn’t nearly as enticing as this months (Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!), it’s still a decent bit of free content.

Jet Set Radio will be available to download a little later in the month, January 16th to be precise, and then a week later you can go for some pinball madness with The Pinball Arcade which will be available to you on January 23rd.

As well five great games all for free, there’s a wide range of discounts only available to Playstation Plus members, as well as, get this, a reduction on a years subscription to the service. For just £29.99 you can get in on the action and see what all the fuss is about, and it’s definitely worth a shot. You’ll easily make that back just with January’s freebies, then there’s the numerous discounts, it’s a no brainer.

Wait, you mean to tell me they’ve REDUCED the price? What is wrong with Sony, it’s like they don’t even want my money!

Yep, that’s correct. PS Plus membership is reduced, but only for a limited time, plus there’s also a free months trial of the service.
