Are you interested in the Multiplayer component of Warzone Mobile and curious about the maps and modes? Despite the name Warzone Mobile, this Call of Duty title offers more than just Battle Royale. With that, let’s review all the Multiplayer maps and modes in Warzone Mobile.
All Multiplayer maps in Warzone Mobile
The Limited Release version of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile offers just three Multiplayer maps: Scrapyard, Broadcast, and Breenburg Hotel.
Broadcast was a DLC map in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and is also featured on Verdansk. Scrapyard is a fan-favourite map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009), also present on Verdansk. Lastly, Breenburg Hotel is the latest addition to Warzone Mobile Multiplier, initially debuting in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022).
When Warzone Mobile officially launches later in 2023, Shoot House from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019) will join the map pool as a bonus for hitting 35 million pre-registrations. Expect additional maps to trickle in too! For example, the description for the Mosh Pit playlist mentions Atlas Superstore as one of the available maps, but it’s not yet playable in Warzone Mobile.
- Modern Warfare 2 offers way more maps than Warzone Mobile.
All Multiplayer modes in Warzone Mobile
For the time being, Warzone Mobile’s Multiplayer is restricted to the following 6v6 game modes: Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Search & Destroy. These are perhaps the most iconic and beloved modes in Call of Duty history and are basically a required component of any Call of Duty Multiplayer.
Why are there so few Multiplayer maps and modes in Warzone Mobile?
You might be wondering why the selection of maps and modes in Warzone Mobile is so thin. Well, that’s intended. Warzone Mobile is not meant to replace Call of Duty: Mobile or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. While Multiplayer is the focus of those titles, it’s secondary for Warzone Mobile.
The developer of Warzone Mobile plans to give the Battle Royale mode most of its attention and support. Multiplayer is a separate, independent mode primarily designed to serve as a break from Battle Royale and give players somewhere where they can hop into quick matches to level up and test weapons and loadouts.
So, that’s all the Multiplayer maps and modes in Warzone Mobile. If you enjoy Multiplayer in Warzone Mobile, rest assured that additional maps and modes will likely drop when the game officially releases. However, Warzone Mobile will probably never rival COD Mobile or Modern Warfare 2 in the overall depth of their Multiplayer offerings.
