If you’re looking for a reason to escape the vault and head off into the wastelands for cheap, look no further – we’ve got you covered. Games are pretty pricey these days, especially if you buy them new on release day, but every so often a deal comes along that just looks too good to be true. Thankfully this isn’t the case with Fallout 4 as it’s actually possible to get the game for less than a tenner, though you’ll need to sacrifice one of your back-catalogue.
UK toy specialist and video game seller Smyth’s is offering Fallout 4 for £9.99 as long as you trade-in one of their selected titles. The beauty of this one is that a couple of games on the list are a little older and are relatively cheap if bought used on Amazon, eBay etc if you don’t already own a copy. For example, The Witcher 3, GTA V, and Batman: Arkham Knight are all fairly old titles now and can be gotten for less than £25, possibly even cheaper depending on where you live and what your local stores hold in used stock. [At the time of writing, Arkham Knight is at £18.] It’s as easy as hunting down a used copy for cheap, taking it to Smyth’s with your crisp £10 note and walking away with Fallout 4 for less than its retail price. Smart thinking, right?
The full list of trade-in games can be found below. However, we’d really recommend not doing yourself over by swapping-in a newer game that you’ve just shelled out for. Economics, yo.
