There are some essential resources to find in the Wizarding World, and thankfully, you can get Moonstone fast in Hogwarts Legacy. Here’s exactly how to get Moonstone fast in Hogwarts Legacy.
- Shrivelfig Fruit is another resource you should find in Hogwarts Legacy.
You Don’t Have To Go Far To Get Moonstone Fast In Hogwarts Legacy
One of the best ways to get Moonstone fast in Hogwarts Legacy is to visit the Vivarium in the Room of Requirement. You’d think it’s just a home for the magical beasts you’ve saved from the poachers and the wilderness. However, you’re wrong.
There are a lot of resources that are available to grab from the Vivarium. Look to the rocky edges of the area and climb each hill in the default forest-inspired locale. In one sweep of the Vivarium, you can get around 25 Moonstones each day.
You can also get other materials like Ashwinder Eggs, Leech Juice, and Leaping Toadstool Caps if you look hard enough. It’s easier to get Moonstones than Stench of the Dead, for sure.
- Alohomora will help you unlock doors and get that sweet loot like gear and gold.
More Quick Ways To Get Moonstone Fast In Hogwarts Legacy
Once you’ve finished your gallivants in the Vivarium, the next best thing is to get a Material Refiner. With this tool, you can forge your own Moonstone.
You’ll need the spellcraft for the Material Refiner first if you don’t have it already. Travel to Hogsmeade and visit the Tomes & Scrolls shop. It’s located at the most southern section of Hogsmeade below Ollivander’s and Spintwiches Sporting Needs. The symbol for the shop on the Hogsmeade Map is suitably a scroll.
Once you find yourself inside the store, you can purchase the Material Refiner spellcraft for 1,500 Gold. It’s kinda pricey, but you can sell the gear you don’t require if you need some extra cash by pressing R1 (or RB on Xbox).
Now, that you have the spellcraft, return to the Room of Requirement and cast the Conjuring Spell. You can then make the Material Refiner with the use of 15 Moonstone. Once placed, interact with it and then it will take 10 minutes to make 10 Moonstones.
While you’re in the Room of Requirement, you can also get Moonstones by removing objects in the vicinity. Equip the Evanesco spell, and any item caught within will go poof. In its place is a Moonstone that you can use towards future projects. Don’t get rid of the potting tables though; you’ll need that Mallowsweet for Merlin’s Trials.
- You can also find Troll Bogeys for your potion-making in Hogwarts Legacy.
Best Place To Find Moonstones In The Open World
The best place to find Moonstones within the open world is right next to cliff faces. The crumbled rock will reveal some Moonstone lingering about. For example, you can find Moonstones sparsed on the cliff behind the Quidditch pitch if you want somewhere close by to explore.
This method isn’t as solid as the two prior, but it will still net you some Moonstones you can use to make materials in The Room of Requirement.
To make the process easier, casting Revelio regularly will show the Moonstones in a gold shine. You can then prudently shoot them down with your spells. Changing the time of day would also help you find Moonstones easier.
