How to cook food in Pokemon Sleep
To begin cooking food in Pokemon Sleep, tap on Snorlax’s belly or the pot by your tent. When you first unlock the ability to cook, you will be limited to Auto Cooking. As the name suggests, Auto Cooking automatically creates meals using an assortment of ingredients from your inventory.
After studying at least 12 different sleep styles, you will unlock the ability to Choose a Recipe. This allows you to manually create dishes for Snorlax. You can use recipes you’ve previously discovered or combine ingredients in an attempt to create something brand-new.
The more ingredients you toss in the pot, the more vigorous the resulting meal will be. And the stronger the dish, the more Strength Snorlax will gain from chowing down on it. Initially, your cooking pot can only hold a maximum of 15 ingredients. However, as you register additional sleep styles in your Sleep Style Dex, you will be able to expand the size of your pot in exchange for Dream Shards.
What to feed Snorlax in Pokemon Sleep
When it comes to cooking in Pokemon Sleep, cheffing any of Snorlax’s favourite foods will provide the best results. Moreover, cooking the same recipe multiple times over will level it up, further increasing its potency. Also, if you’re lucky, you might end up with an Extra Tasty dish, which provides additional Strength to Snorlax.
If you find yourself short on ingredients, you can always feed Snorlax berries from your berry basket as an alternative. Like with cooked meals, each Snorlax has a few preferred berries, so try to feed it its favourites if you want to maximise its Drowsy Power and Strength gains.
While you can feed biscuits to your Helper Pokemon, Snorlax is not interested in biscuits.
When to feed Snorlax in Pokemon Sleep
To keep Snorlax happy, you will want to feed the docile Pokemon three meals a day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast is from 6am to 12pm, lunch is from 12pm to 6pm, and dinner is from 6pm to 6am.
How to get ingredients and berries in Pokemon Sleep
To cook meals for Snorlax, you obviously need ingredients. In Pokemon Sleep, it’s the job of your Helper Pokemon to gather ingredients. What type of ingredients your Helper Pokemon can gather, plus other important information like how often your Pokemon will collect ingredients and how many they can carry, is available to view under its Helping Stats.
Helper Pokemon also have unique skills that can improve their ingredient-gathering capabilities. For example, the Ingredient Finder M Sub Skill boosts the likelihood the Pokemon will find ingredients. Assemble your crew of Helper Pokemon carefully to effectively stockpile the ingredients you need for Snorlax’s favourite meals!
If your Helper Pokemon aren’t gathering enough ingredients, you can get extra ingredients by purchasing Ingredient Tickets through the Sleep Point Exchange.
As for berries, Helper Pokemon collect those too! And if you pair and use Pokemon GO Plus + with Pokemon Sleep, you can play Pokemon GO and spin PokeStops to get bonus berries in Pokemon Sleep.
Benefits of feeding Snorlax in Pokemon Sleep
The most glaring benefit of feeding Snorlax in Pokemon Sleep is that it raises its Strength and, in turn, the amount of Drowsy Power it produces. The higher the Drowsy Power, the more Pokemon you will find surrounding Snorlax after a Sleep Session. Furthermore, boosted Drowsy Power increases the chance that you encounter rare Pokemon, like Shiny Pokemon and evolved species of Pokemon.
That’s everything there is to cooking and feeding Snorlax in Pokemon Sleep. Assemble Helper Pokemon to gather supplies for you, then toss the ingredients in your cooking pot to craft Snorlax’s favourite meals! Feed Snorlax whenever it’s hungry to max out its Strength and accumulate Drowsy Power.
