FFXIV has a lot of job classes to choose from, with at least one being released with every new expansion. Levelling is a crucial part of Final Fantasy XIV, as it allows players to unlock new content, including the story and new abilities. The max level is level 90. This can be a bit of a grind to get to. This guide will walk you through how to get to the max level quickly and with ease in FFXIV.
In total, there are 20 classes to choose from, depending on what you want your playstyle to be. You can also change your job at any time, and switch it up depending on what you are feeling like.
Levelling may sound incredibly daunting, but FFXIV has a very friendly levelling system that you can use to get through those levels with ease.

How to level Job Classes quickly through FFXIV
Getting your first job class to level 90 is relatively simple, but if you want to level alternative classes to 90, you may find that you start to struggle a little. This is because you don’t really want to have to run through the entire storyline again. Luckily, you have options!
When you are levelling, there are buffs that you can access. Some of these include being on particular servers or being a part of a Free Company, as being in group content will allow you to get an EXP boost.
There is an Armoury Bonus that you can receive if you are levelling a class that is lower level than your main job class. It is a 100% EXP boost from levels 1-79, and then it will drop to 50% from 80-90.
A Rested Bonus will apply if you rest in a sanctuary city as you log off of Final Fantasy XIV. However it isn’t time-based, instead, it will give you a percentage of EXP.
There are also special items you can use that will buff you throughout your levelling experience if you want to get it over with as fast as you can.
All food will give you a 3% experience boost for 30 minutes in battle. You can also purchase a Squadron Battle Manual that will give you a 15% boost for 120 minutes. However, it doesn’t stack with any Free Company actions so you have to make sure that you won’t have any overlapping buffs.

Level up fast through group content in Final Fantasy XIV
The main way you want to get through levelling in Final Fantasy XIV is by using the group content that is available to you. This is called the Duty Roulette. By doing the Duty Roulette, you will be able to get a tonne of EXP by running old content and will be able to get into the content relatively quickly, too. If you are levelling a healer or tank, you’ll also be granted more EXP as you’ll be classed as an ‘Adventurer in Need’.
Once you have levelled up a bit, you will gain access to Raids and Alliance Raids, which will also give you big chunks of EXP. You will then want to queue up for the highest-level dungeon that you can, as that will help you level up fast in FFXIV.
The Challenge Log is a great way to get some EXP going, as it will come into play with a lot of the activities you will already be doing as you are playing the game. Some of the quests will be to “Complete 5 dungeons” or “Complete 3 FATES” as an example.

Solo content in Final Fantasy XIV
If you are a player who isn’t really a fan of the group content aspect in MMORPGs, there are still ways to get bigger EXP than standard storyline questing.
The main solo content you can do that will provide beneficial EXP is the Tribal Quests. There will be factions in each expansion that you can meet and they will send you on quests for them. By doing them, you will get rewarded with EXP and items. You can do 12 Tribal Quests a day.
