Mass Effect: Andromeda is the fourth Mass Effect game from Bioware – that much we know – but now we also know when it’ll release – or its release window.
Speaking as part of the quarterly EA investor’s relation call, EA’s Blake Jorgensen revealed the approximate release window for Mass Effect: Andromeda: Q4, 2016.
“We have our Mirror’s Edge runner game this first quarter, and then we have Mass Effect, which is a sci-fi action game, in our fourth quarter.”
So, what does that mean to those who don’t run their calendars in financial quarters? It means that you’ll be playing Mass Effect: Andromeda next year, but early next year.
Not much is known about Mass Effect: Andromeda’s story, gameplay, or anything else for that matter, but we do know that it’ll release on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Oh, and it’ll probably be awesome, but we can’t confirm that just yet.
EA has a few big releases over the coming 12 months, what with the unannounced Battlefield game, Mirror’s Edge, Titanfall 2, and of course there’s the usual annual offerings from the sports selection.
