If you remember the good old days of playing Halo: Combat Evolved on the PC then you’ll be chuffed to know that some of the maps from the PC version will be available within Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
343 Industries answered the frequently asked question over on the Halo Waypoint website, stating that “the maps that were exclusive to PC for Halo: CE (and Halo 2) will be available in both custom games and Matchmaking.”
Unfortunately not everything will be included. Of the PC-exclusive weapons, the flamethrowers and Fuel Rod gun won’t be included in the game, but according to 343 there will be a “a brand new list of weapon sets, including ‘classic.’”
Halo: The Master Chief Collection contains Halo: CE Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, Halo: Nightfall (Digital Series) and access to the multiplayer Beta for Halo 5: Guardians. Yeah, five games for less than £50.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be available from November 11th in North America and November 14th in the UK and Europe and is currently available to pre-order with Amazon UK with the exclusive Skull Pinata DLC.
