With Bioshock Infinite on the horizon, it seems only fitting that publisher 2K games would re-release the first two games in a nifty little box-set in the shape of Bioshock Ultimate Rapture Edition.
Online retailer FutureShop.ca had the game listed on their website until it mysteriously disappeared.
The listing on the Canadian site stated the double pack re-release is to be available from November 30th for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. If the rest of the listing is to be believed, you won’t only get two great games in one box, Bioshock and Bioshock 2, you will also receive the following DLC/Extras:
- BioShock–Plasmids Pack, Challenge Rooms Pack, and Bonus Museum Level
- BioShock 2–Sinclair Solutions Tester, Rapture Metro, Kill ‘Em Kindly, The Protector Trials and Minerva’s Den
- Collectible sticker pack from BioShock Infinite’s world of Columbia
Without any official acknowledgement from 2k Games on the matter, the validity is still in question, but I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing this on store shelves before the year is out.
If you’ve been tempted by Bioshock Infinite but haven’t yet played the first two, this is a great opportunity to get your hands on two games with some extra DLC.
