Have you been naughty or nice this year? Is Santa going to be dropping off a bag of goodies under your tree? Or is he more likely to dump a bag of coal at the foot of your bed? Either way you’re a winner. Coal is a great fossil fuel and prices are rocketing as we burn through the limited fossil fuels, so if you do get a bag of coal, use it to keep your home warm this winter, Santa’s doing you a solid.
Coal aside, it seems that there’s a second list you may want to be appearing on this Christmas; the GameStop list.
According to a poster on Reddit, going by the name WigletBill claims to have been sent a few goodies from the video game retailer, including a PS TV, Super Smash Bros Wii U and a GameStop gift card.
For those who aren’t in the know, GameStop rewards loyal customers with a points that can be accumulated to redeem against games and other products from the retailer. If you shop at GAME, it’s basically the same system they use.
So, have you been naughty or nice? Or in this case, have you spent a fortune on your hobby with GameStop over the last 12 months? if so, you may be in line for a special treat. Or not. Nothing’s guaranteed. Worst case scenario; you get some precious coal.
At the moment we can’t really verify that this is authentic, but we’ve emailed the folks at GameStop to see if they can shed any light on it. If you’ve been on the receiving end of a Christmas treat from GameStop, or any other company for that matter, let us know down in the comments section below.
