In this Sharpshooter Leveling Guide we cover everything you need to know on your journey to level 50 in Lost Ark. We’ll teach you what you should focus on, the skills you should make priority, and which skills to level to as you continue on.
Sharpshooter Class Overview
The Sharpshooter in Lost Ark is a Gunner type class that wields a Mechanical Bow which shoots special arrows, and has a few melee attacks with Daggers. They also have a Hawk companion that follows the Player and deals damage. Their musical instrument is an Electric Guitar. The Sharpshooter is a Ranged DPS; preferring to deal the majority of damage from afar, but occasionally deals Melee damage.
The Identity Skill of the Sharpshooter is to Summon Silverhawk. Dealing damage to targets fills up their Identity Gauge: Hawk Meter. Once full, a player can summon the Silverhawk and command it to do attack the target, or self destruct to deal massage damage.
Engravings Focus
There are two distinct playstyles that players can choose from through the use of the Sharpshooter’s Class Engravings:
- Loyal Companion – Increase Movement Speed for Party, Marks a Target which increases damage taken and increases the damage and duration of the Silverhawk’s presence.
- Death Strike – Upon using the Last Rush skill applies an 8 second debuff on target which increases damage taken.
Both playstyles are viable in endgame content so pick your favorite flavor. The Loyal Companion Engraving playstyle is easier to play but has less damage potential than the Death Strike Engraving. It is possible to have full uptime on the debuff with the Death Strike playstyle, but it can be difficult at times.
Role of a Sharpshooter
Sharpshooters are a pure DPS class in Lost Ark. In PvE, they focus on sustained damage to the boss. In PvP, they can do a significant amount of damage from range and melee and have the special ability to stealth. The two of these factors combined make them a dangerous threat in the arena.
Strengths
- Good Damage
- High Mobility
- Easy to learn
Weaknesses
- Lower health and defense
- Low party synergy
Leveling a Sharpshooter
We recommend that you try out all the skills and play whatever is the most fun for you. However, if you just want to speed up the process (maybe that’s the most fun for you) or you’re tying to power through levelling an alt, follow this level by level breakdown of what skills to use and level up and which tripods to activate.
For levelling as fast as possible, you want to have a good range of Movement Skills and high AoE damage for clearing packs of normal enemies. You can swap between saved skill tree slots whenever for free (even in combat as long as no skills are on cooldown). It’s recommended to use both your skillbook slots the main one being for AoE (packs of normal enemies) and the second one for Single Target (Boss/Elites).
Sharpshooter Skill Priority
The High Damage skills you’ll want to max to level 10 immediately when you can in this order:
- Blade Storm (default ability)
- Charged Shot (lvl 14)
- Claymore Mine (lvl 12)
- Arrow Shower (default ability)
- Sharp Shooter (lvl 18)*
*Use this skill as a replacement for Blade Storm for boss fights in your second saved skill tree slot.
Here are the Mobility Skills you should focus on levelling after the main damaging abilities:
- Moving Slash (up to Skill Level 4)
- Stalker (up to Skill Level 4 or 7)
- Salvo (up to Skill Level 4)
- Rapid Shot (up to Skill Level 7)
The Tripods to focus on attaining are ones like:
- Quick Preparation (Faster cooldown)
- Excellent Mobility (Longer distance)
- Quick Pace (Movement Speed buff)
Sharpshooter Combat Priorities
Use Moving Slash and Stalker to traverse the large distances. The Movement Speed Buff (Tripod: Quick Pace) from Salvo and Rapid Shot(lvl 7) and Stalker(lvl 7) will also be helpful to move faster.
Most enemies will go down with Blade Storm, however you can also combo Arrow Shower into Charged Shot.
Use Sharp Shooter on bosses or elites first to apply the debuff to do more damage to them.
Below is an example Skill Progression Chart, and their Tripods, that you can use to Level your Sharpshooter. For the Levels not listed below or when you have spare points you can put them into skills you like or into skills you will eventually continue putting skill points into.

Gear While Leveling
Just equip the highest Item Lv. item you find. Focus on Swiftness for increased movement speed, reduced casting time, and faster skill cooldowns. Secondly, your next best stat is Crit.
