It’s been a helluva long wait for Naughty Dog’s fourth console entry in the wildly popular Uncharted series, but that wait is a little bit closer to over; the game is finished.
After being stung with a few delays, the most recent one pushing to release back to May 10th, Uncharted 4: A Thief”s End has gone gold. But what does ‘gone gold’ mean, we hear little Timmy on the Internet say.
Basically, it means that the game’s master disc has been fully completed and that there’s nothing else to do on the game, at least not in any development capacity. The gold disc will now be copied many times over (probably millions of times) and those copies will be packed into Uncharted 4 PS4 cases, wrapped in cellophane and shipped to stores across the globe in time for the game’s release date.
Isn’t it nice to know that it’s coming and that there will be no more delays, eh?
