Bugger fluff. We’re always annoyed when it comes to writing these articles because we just don’t want to have to write them. Where’s the fun in telling the world that Xbox Live is having problems?
Unfortunately, that is the case at this moment. Gamers across the world are currently sat in front of their TV’s wondering what in the blazes is going on with Xbox Live. The short answer is that the social and gaming parts of the service isn’t working properly. The affected services are:
In-game matchmaking, cloud storage, finding friends, Game DVR, leaderboards, avatar editing, or pictures.
Microsoft states on the support page that its looking into the issues and will get everything running as soon as possible. In the mean time, hang in there and don’t lose your mind. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate is pretty good as a single-player game, and Just Cause 3 is actually better without the notification that XxXBeanJuiceMilkerXxX has beaten your wingsuit record.
We’ll keep checking in with the service and shall update you here at The Games Cabin.
[Update 12:20 GMT: And all was well in the land of Xbox – the service is back to full throttle. Phew.]
